- Metarhizium Anisopliae is an entomopathogenic fungus that infects insects that come in contact with it.
- Once the fungus spores attach to the surface of the insect, germinate and begin to grow, they the penetrate the exoskeleton of the insect and grow very rapidly inside the insect causing the insect to die.
- Other insects that come in contact with infected insects also become infected with the fungus.
- Usage: Mix 1-2 spoons of metharhizium anisopliae in water mix it well filter it with cloth and spray it in evening time on the infected plants thoroughly for 4-5 days Keep it in dry and dark place
METHOD OF APPLICATION & RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:
- Target pasts: To control adult and larvae of insects like leaf hoppers, root grubs, borers cutworms, termites, palm weevils bottles grouts
- Directions for use Main Field Application: For acre of land, 4 kg can be add with 100kg of FYM and apply near the root zone of standing crop. Alternatively, it can be applied basically the time of and preparation Foliar spray. For ang acre of land -Mix 2 kg in 200 itres of water and spray an the insect posts. Repeat application is needed for better control.
- Recommended for Field crops: like Cotton, paddy, sorghum, sunflower, groundnut, potato, mustard, cumin, sugarcane, vegetable crops: Tomato, chilly, brinjal, onion, ladyfinger Plantation crops: cardamom, tea, coffee, are coconut, fruit craps and in floriculture Storage: Store in cool and dry place away farm direct sunlight Precautions: Don mix or use chemical fungicide after application of Progahi Metarhizium for 7-10 days
